The Delaware Riverkeeper Network participated in the Land Application of Biosolids Workgroup Stakeholder Meetings in 2025. Attached is their letter to the DEP with suggestions for changes to the permits.

Good morning,

‍Today, the draft PAG-07 - General Permit for Beneficial Use of Exceptional Quality Biosolids, PAG-08 - General Permit for Beneficial Use of Non-Exceptional Quality Biosolids, and PAG-09 - General Permit for Beneficial Use of Residential Septage, have been published. The 60-day public comment period opens on Saturday, July 4.

We’d like to thank our partners and stakeholders who met with us over the course of the last year and a half for providing constructive feedback throughout the development process.
